Occupational Therapy

Designed for those seeking a meaningful career in healthcare, the program combines scientific knowledge with practical therapeutic skills to improve people’s everyday lives. Students learn to support people of all ages in overcoming challenges, building independence, and participating in activities that matter to them.

The curriculum integrates anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, and cognition with a deep understanding of the psychological and social aspects of each person’s life. Students develop the clinical reasoning, communication, and creative problem-solving skills to translate compassion into effective, personalized care.

Through 1,000 hours of supervised clinical training, students gain practical experience assessing individual needs and developing interventions that support daily functioning and well-being.

Graduates are prepared for careers across healthcare, rehabilitation, education, and community services, helping people live fuller, more independent lives.

The program is led by Dr. Naomi Ferziger.
